Students at the University of Virginia are using their athletic skills to raise money for the fight against cancer by taking part in the 25th Annual Cancer Shootout at Carrs Field.
UVA student athletes spent the day playing football, soccer, and other sports with kids - to raise money for cancer research.
UVA student athlete Simone Egwu said, "So our goal this year is $8,000 if we reach that goal shootout will grant $25,000 for cancer."
All proceeds from Sunday's shootout will support the UVA Cancer Center's work on leukemia and bone marrow transplants.
