Augusta Health Opens Clinic in Crozet - NBC29 WVIR Charlottesville, VA News, Sports and Weather

A Shenandoah Valley health care provider is celebrating its expansion across the mountain. Augusta Health is launching its Convenient Care Clinic in Crozet's Old Trail Village.

The clinic will be open every day of the year. All patient records are maintained electronically to link with other facilities in the Augusta Health System. Staff members say with schools and businesses just minutes away from the clinic, they are optimistic many people will find it a convenient option.

Ken Feldman of Augusta Health said, "It's about community access. It's about a population. Old Trail Village is a beautiful community, it's a growing community. We're working with the lodge next door as well as the senior center here."

Because of Saturday's rain, the ribbon cutting ceremony was moved to a later date. The clinic will open to patients Monday.
