Charlottesville Woman Pleads Guilty to Selling Bath Salts

A Charlottesville woman faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to selling bath salts at a video store she formerly owned.

Lois Lee McDaniel also faces a fine of up to $1 million.  She pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. District Court to conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and to distribute bath salts.

McDaniel formerly owned the C-Ville Video Store. McDaniel admitted in court that she sold more than 200 grams of bath salts between April and August of last year from behind the counter at the store.
