The wait is finally over for nTelos customers. The store opened early Friday with plenty of Apple iPhones in stock and ready to go.
The big guys - AT&T, Verizon and Sprint - have all carried the iPhone for some time, and it is finally Waynesboro based nTelos' turn to get in on the action.
Friday morning plenty of banners and balloons greeted customers at the nTelos store in Shoppers World Plaza. Customers can scoop up the latest model of the iPhone for $50 less than other big carriers, so a 16 gig iPhone 4S will run you $150.
We spoke with one customer who was there buying the iconic iPhone for her sister, who loves Apple products. Rebecca Lewis said, "She needs a new phone and she asked for an iPhone cause she's an Apple kind of person and thought it would work well with her iPad and iPod."
You can get an iPhone with 8, 16, 32 or 64 gigs of storage. The nTelos smart phone plans start at about $100.
