Natalie anchors NBC29 HD News at Sunrise on weekend mornings and works as a reporter three days a week. She joined the NBC29 news team as a general assignment reporter in April 2012.

Before coming to NBC29, Natalie worked as a reporter, anchor, producer at CTV News in Largo, Maryland. Her broadcast career began in Washington, DC (WRC-TV) where she was a production assistant/field producer.

Natalie's work has been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Awards, White House Correspondents' Association, and the National Black Programming Consortium.

She is a proud alum of Howard University and is currently pursuing her Master's in Communication at Johns Hopkins.

A native of Athens, GA, Natalie is excited to live in another college town.  She is honored to be a part of the Charlottesville community and looks forward to telling some great stories.

  • First TV Appearance: Fourth grade- I was a reporter for our student newscast
  • Favorite Story: Participating in an ice and water rescue with Prince George's County firefighters.
  • Memorable Interview: One of the most touching stories I have had the privilege to tell was about a volunteer firefighter trying to find a bone marrow transplant for his son who was battling Leukemia.
  • Dream Interview: Elmo from Sesame Street and Ms. Piggy from The Muppets.
  • Dream Job: Investigative reporter for a long-format news program such as Dateline NBC.
  • Most rewarding part of your job: Being constantly reminded that I work in an industry that gives a voice to the powerless while simultaneously holding the powerful accountable for their actions.

  • Hobbies: I'm a competitive bowler. I recently bowled my highest game of a 279, but I'm still working toward that 300!
  • Favorite Food: Mom's red velvet cake. What can I say? I'm a southern belle.
