Waynesboro Man Arrested in Sexual Assault Case

A Waynesboro man has been arrested in a decades-old sexual assault case.

John W. Clark II, 66, turned himself in to police Thursday on three felony sex charges. Investigators say the abuse took place from 1978 to 1981, at a home in Waynesboro.

The alleged victim, who was in grade school at the time, reported the case earlier this month. Clark's first court appearance is Friday.
