A special grand jury has indicted a man for an Augusta County shooting more than a year ago.
Jonathan Van, 20, is accused of shooting a 19-year-old last March, during a dispute outside the Weyers Cave Community Center. The victim was shot in the leg and later recovered.
Van is indicted on charges of malicious wounding and using a firearm in a felony. He's listed as a fugitive, and court records show a "last known address" in northern Virginia.
Gov. McDonnell announced that his FY 2015/2016 budget will include $183.1 million over the biennium in new support of VA's colleges and universities.
