The capital murder case against Taybronne White is moving forward. Friday White had a motions hearing in Greene County Circuit Court. He faces 13 felony charges.
The 26-year-old is accused of killing three people in May 2011. Investigators say White shot Brian Lee Daniels, Dustin Knighton and Lisa Hwang. Their bodies were found in the middle of Octonia Road. Investigators believe White killed them following a home invasion and robbery.
A number of motions were taken up at the hearing. Judge Daniel Bouton granted a defense motion to have its own DNA expert.
White's arraignment has been postponed until June 5, 2012. Other motions will be heard at that time as well.
White's father maintains that his son is innocent and says more evidence will come to light as the case moves forward.
