An argument at two Madison County schools turned physical Thursday. The fight sent one Madison High School student away in an ambulance and another is facing a felony charge.
This began Thursday as an argument at Madison County High School that was broken up by school faculty. Shortly after, the victim took off in a vehicle and the accused hopped in her car and followed her to Waverly Yowell Elementary School. That's where things got physical.
Due to injuries, the victim was taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center, there is no word on her condition but officials say the injuries were severe enough for a CAT scan.
The accused is being held at the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center where she faces a felony charge of malicious wounding and a reckless driving charge.

On 3/1/2012, a verbal altercation occurred between two female juveniles at the Madison County High School. The juveniles were separated by school personnel. The victim left in an unknown vehicle, while the accused got in her vehicle and pursued the victim to the parking lot of Waverly Yowell Elementary School. A physical altercation occurred. Due to the injuries sustained by the victim, she was transported by ambulance to UVA Medical Center.
After a brief search for the suspect, she was taken into custody without incident. The accused was transported to the Madison Probation Office where a petition was issued for felony – malicious wounding and also a summons for reckless driving. The accused is currently being held in the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center in Fredericksburg. A bond hearing is set for today in Charlottesville.
