Misty SorrellsA case involving three people accused of abducting a woman is on its way to a grand jury in Augusta County.
Tuesday 36-year-old Sean Jamrose, 25-year-old Misty Sorrells and 27-year-old Joshua Lawhorne went before a judge, who certified charges against each of them.
The alleged victim says the trio showed up at her room at the Quality Inn near Staunton last month. She told a judge that they demanded a thousand dollars, which she admitted helping steal from one of them earlier in the day.
The abduction suspects released the victim after a few hours. She testified that she was high on bath salts, and had only a vague recollection of the incident.
