Former Charlottesville City Council candidate James Halfaday is expected to plead guilty to election fraud charges. He was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday in Charlottesville Circuit Court.
Halfaday faces four felony election fraud charges. Prosecutors say he used a false address when he certified his candidacy for Charlottesville City Council.
A guilty plea hearing has been set for March 6 at 11:30 in the morning.
