Creative types in Greene County will soon have a built-in support system. The county's new art guild is run by artists, for artists.
Gallery owners from across the county will lend a helping hand to folks who want a place to call home for their passion in art.
Holly Horan of Noon Whistle Pottery said, "We want to gather together artists, musicians, dancers, writers, anybody in the creative fields, as well as teachers to build a sense of community and to help encourage each other in our artistic endeavors."
The Art Guild of Greene plans to reach out to the community for members in the coming months.
