The Virginia men got back on the winning track Saturday with a 71-44 win at home against Maryland.
Freshman Malcolm Brogdon scored an ACC career-best 14 points in 27 minutes of action.
Brogdon started and played 34 minutes in the previous game against Clemson, as sophomore guard Joe Harris has seen his playing time reduced due to a broken hand.
Head coach Tony Bennett says, "(Malcolm Brogdon) went turnover free, he attacked the lane when there were opening, and he was real sturdy defensively. He moved his feet and played a complete game the most complete game he's played all year."
The Cavaliers will travel to face Virginia Tech Tuesday at 9 pm.
