Albemarle High School senior Adam Visokay made a verbal commitment to run track and cross country at UVA Friday, following in the footsteps of another Patriot great:  Anthony Kostelac.

Visokay is an All-American runner.

He won the regional championship in the 3200 meter indoor and outdoor last year.

His specialty is cross country.

He won a regional championship, helped Albemarle finish second in the state, and says UVA is a perfect fit.

"I really felt like the connection I had with the team and coaches was really special," says Visokay. "Also, the team at UVA, the guys are so much fun. I'm looking to spend the next few years running for UVA."
