Virginia Blood Services is teaming up with Celebrate!250 for the annual "Broadcasters for Blood Drive". It's an opportunity for you to roll up your sleeve and give the gift of life, while having fun.
Terry Atwater of Virginia Blood Services said, "We actually have a big party and this is a great opportunity to celebrate Charlottesville's 250th anniversary and actually save lives and have a great time when you do it."
The event will be held this year from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the MLK Performing Arts Center in Charlottesville. The first 25 donors will receive a gift card and plenty of door prizes will be given away.
