Staunton Caregiver Indicted in Connection with Patient Death

Attorneys are gearing up for a jury trial in the case of a Staunton caregiver accused of abusing a patient. Forty-nine-year-old Jeanette Hymes was indicted on a felony charge in connection with the death of 85-year-old Russell Beach.

Beach died in the summer of 2010, soon after being admitted to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

Hymes will face a jury in April. Attorneys will argue before a judge next week, on what evidence will be allowed at trial.
