UVa basketball coach Tony Bennett says Joe Harris will be a game time decision for Tuesday's contest at Clemson. Harris has a fractured bone in his left (non-shooting) hand.
Harris will wear a protective pad on his hand, which Bennett described as a thermal plaster with a hard outer shell that covers the palm and allows only for finger and wrist movement.
Harris suffered the injury in the first half of Saturday's game at North Carolina. Harris is Virginia's second leading scorer averaging 12.5 points per game and the team's top three point shooter at 41.2 percent.
If Harris can not play Tuesday, freshman guard Malcolm Brogdon would likely start in his place.
