The Virginia women's basketball team crushed visiting Clemson 68-36 Sunday at John Paul Jones Arena.

The Cavaliers improve to 18-8 overall, and 6-6 in the ACC.

Senior forward Chelsea Shine led UVA with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and 4 steals against the Tigers.

Senior point guard Ariana Moorer had 13 points, seven assists, and six steals, while sophomore guard Kelsey Wolfe tied a career high with 12 points.

The Wahoos tallied 26 steals as a team, which ties the record first set in 1990 against Old Dominion, and matched earlier this season against Wagner.

The Cavaliers led 37-17 at halftime, and all nine players who saw action recorded at least one steal. 

Virginia returns to action Thursday, as they host ACC rival Maryland at 7 o'clock.
