Valentines Day is just two days away and a Charlottesville chocolate shop is working overtime to be stocked and ready for those last minute gift-buyers.
Gearharts Chocolate says that Valentines Day is its busiest time next to Christmas. With walk-in customers and online orders, the store's owner says they are fully stocked with sweet treats, including this romantic holiday's most sought after item - chocolate.
Gearharts Chocolate owner Tim Gearhart said, "Production starts a couple weeks ahead of time and we'll often just try to come up with a reasonable number that we think we can sell and that's what will produce and there's really no going back once we set the number."
This year Gearharts will be offering Valentines Day specials that include solid chocolate shape hearts and studded jewel bars which have become popular from online shoppers.
