Former UVa pitcher Danny Hultzen has pledged $100,000 to the University of Virginia baseball program for improvements to Davenport Field.
The three-time All American is currently a pitcher in the Seattle Mariners organization.
Hultzen says, "I am thrilled and honored to contribute back to the University of Virginia baseball program. Virginia has done so much for me. My experiences at UVa have been critical in helping me grow into the player and the man that I am today."
Hultzen had a record of 32-5 with a 2.08 ERA during his career at UVa. He was the second pick of June's MLB draft and reportedly signed a contract worth 8.5 million guaranteed.
