The Albemarle Patriots beat Riverbend 49-34 Monday night at AHS. Kendall Hawkins had a team high 14 points.

Lee Carneal had 12 points and Danny Vaughn had 9 points. The Patriots improve to 7-8 in the Commonwealth District. Albemarle is 11-10 overall. The Patriots have their final regular season home game Wednesday night against Brook Point.
