Albemarle HS, Orange May Move to Jefferson District

The Virginia High School League has a proposed redistricting plan that would move Orange County back to the Jefferson District along with Albemarle HS.

The VHSL Redistricting Committee voted 12-0 last week to recommend moving Albemarle and Orange to the Jefferson District for the two year school cycle from 20013-2015.

Orange and Albemarle are currently playing in the Commonwealth District and could appeal the move. If they don't, OCHS and AHS could be playing in the Jefferson District by 2013.
