New Court Date Scheduled for Crimora Woman Charged in Fatal Accident

A new court date has been scheduled for a Crimora woman charged with driving under the influence and involuntary manslaughter. Jessica Lewis was scheduled to be in court Monday.

She was in a fatal crash that happened in November on Half Mile Branch Road near Crozet. Police say Lewis lost control of her car and crashed into a tree. Two passengers, Amber and Michael Johnson died in the fiery crash.

Monday's hearing was delayed because her blood alcohol results are not in yet. A hearing is scheduled for March 5.
