JMU Men Drop Fourth Straight, Fall to Delaware at Home

The JMU men's basketball team lost to Delaware 85-80 Saturday afternoon at the Convocation Center in Harrisonburg.

The Dukes dropped their fourth straight game, falling to 10-15 overall and 3-10 in CAA play.

The Blue Hens never trailed in the game and led by as many as eleven points in the first half.

Madison trailed 44-36 at half but rallied to cut the lead to one with 13:34 to play and at 5:25 remaining, but the Dukes could never take the lead.

Redshirt junior A.J. Davis poured in a career-high and game-high 30 points, nailing four of the Dukes' 12 three-pointers in the game.

Senior guard Humpty Hitchens hit three triples and scored 17 points in the loss.

Junior guard Devon Moore added 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists for JMU.

Junior forward Andrey Semenov hit three triples and scored eleven points for the Dukes.

JMU returns to action Wednesday night. James Madison hosts Drexel at 7:00.
