PVCC Holds Financial Aid Workshops

Prospective college students in central Virginia got one-on-one lessons on the ins and outs of financial aid Saturday.

Piedmont Virginia Community College hosted ‘Super Saturday' events at Charlottesville High School, Louisa County and Nelson County.

College-bound students and their parents learned about applying for scholarships, grants and loans. Advisors help them fill out complicated Federal Student Aid forms.

If you missed the ‘Super Saturday' sessions, PVCC will hold another event on its Albemarle County campus next Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
