Trisha EvansCharlottesville police have arrested a man and woman in connection with a beating and robbery at the Days Inn hotel at 1600 Emmet Street in July 2011.
The suspects, 42-year-old Steven Bednarski from Afton and 29-year-old Trisha Evans from Prince William County, are both charged with robbery. Bednarski also faces several gun charges.
Police say Evans invited a man she met at the Ming Dynasty restaurant back to her hotel room and that is when Bednarski pistol-whipped him in a stairwell and robbed him.
The victim received multiple lacerations to the back of his head. He was treated and released from the University of Virginia Medical Center.
