Woman in the Mirror Presentation Held at Focus Women’s Resource Center

Women from all over the community gathered at the Focus Women's Resource Center Friday to celebrate confidence at the "The Woman in the Mirror Presentation."

Andrea Copeland of Positive Channels got women in the community on their feet and looking in the mirror. This mirror action went down so when woman look in the mirror they see themselves as beautiful, successful, and confident.

Copeland hopes all women see these traits in the mirror, and will strive to act on them in their everyday lives.

Jennie Shuklis of the Focus Women's Resource Center said, "It's providing women with what they want, the topics they've expressed interest in knowing right now so they don't have to hunt around for them."

Focus plans to host brown bag luncheons just like this once a month. Next month's presentation will be the "10 Things You Need to Know About Social Media."
