Virginia's second-biggest agricultural county is playing host to a statewide farm show this week. Augusta Expo in Fishersville is the site of the annual Virginia Farm Show.
It brings together farmers from across the commonwealth, and surrounding states. They meet with far more than 100 exhibitors, who offer equipment and services for full- and part-time producers.
Ken Maring with the Virginia Farm Show said, "You're going to see tractors here that wouldn't fit into building doors. You've got to have 24-foot doors. You're going to see tractors that are one step up from a lawn mower. Everybody needs something different."
The Virginia Farm Show takes up both of the main buildings at Augusta Expo, plus outdoor exhibits and a massive heated tent. The event continues through Saturday afternoon.
