Jefferson Trail Treatment Center for Children Closing

In Charlottesville, a substance abuse treatment center is going to close.

The Jefferson Trail Treatment Center for Children announced Wednesday that the program will end effective February 24. The property is being sold, and the building is being demolished.

Jefferson Trail's management is working with state agencies and patients' families to provide a seamless transition to another behavioral treatment program.
