UVA basketball signee Teven Jones will enroll early at UVA joining the team for the second semester. He will not play this season and will treat it as a redshirt year.
Jones is originally from Kannapolis, North Carolina, but he most recently has played at Fishburne Military in Waynesboro. The 6 foot 1 point guard was averaging 18 points per game this season.
He will begin taking classes at UVA this upcoming semester and will be able to fully practice with the Cavaliers and travel with the team. Jones will also be able to take part in UVA's strength and conditioning program.
UVA only had nine scholarship players on the roster this season with KT Harrell and James Johnson choosing to transfer.
