Albemarle County's luxurious Keswick Resort will soon be under new ownership.
An email sent to members states: "Orient-Express Hotels LTD., the owners of Keswick Hall, Keswick Club and Keswick Estate, has entered into a sale and purchase agreement to sell the property to an undisclosed buyer."
Published reports say the buyer is Richmond business magnate William H. Goodwin Junior, who owns several luxury properties. We spoke to his assistant Friday morning, who could not confirm this.
Orient-Express will continue to run the hotel, club and estate until the transaction closes, which is expected to be late January 2012.
