Tweet Your Wish For First Night Virginia

Posted: Updated:

We cannot promise that your wishes will come true, but there is a company in Charlottesville that can make sure they are out there for everyone to see. All it takes is a tweet for your wish to hit the big screen at the nTelos Pavilion screening of the Chick-fil-A Bowl and for New Year's Eve revelers on the downtown mall.

The Charlottesville company WishWish, located on the downtown mall, helps people plan fun things to do. And this Saturday, its goal is to get people dreaming big, by broadcasting their wishes for all to see.

WishWish will take your tweets and display them at the nTelos Pavilion or on a banner in the middle of the downtown mall. To broadcast your news year's wish, all you have to do is tweet your wish followed by #wishwish. The company is collecting wishes for 2012, right now, on its twitter feed.

WishWish executive inspirer Joren Van der Pluijm explained, "We came up with the idea of having people share their tweets and it would be a great way to show Charlottesville what you are wishing for in 2012."

WishWish is a new business that gives the gift of an unforgettable experience. The concept came from the Netherlands and the message is simple, finding fun things to do makes people happy, and happy people dream big.

In Charlottesville, the wishes will be projected downtown during First Night Virginia and at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion as the Cavaliers take on the Tigers.
