University of Virginia Police, in conjunction with Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force members from the Albemarle, Charlottesville and University Police Departments, have charged Ralph Samuel Rogers with ten counts of possession of child pornography after executing a search warrant at his Lambeth Field residence on December 22, 2011.
Rogers is a second year Engineering student.
Investigators seized a computer and other electronic devices at his apartment.
Mr. Rogers is being held at the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail on a $7,500 secured bond.
