Charlottesville Traffic Island Soaks Stormwater

A small space of tall grasses and berry bushes is slowing down and cleaning up stormwater from the parking lots and neighborhoods around Charlottesville High School. Thanks to a unique partnership with University of Virginia student researchers, the proof is in this natural drain is paying off. Click on the video above to see more on the school's biofilter.
