Driver Runs into Building on Preston Ave

A car ran into a building along Preston Avenue in Charlottesville just after 10:30 Tuesday morning.

A woman was trying to make a sharp turn into a parking space when she says she became disoriented and failed to hit the brakes. She clipped a car and then hit the Old Dominion Animal Hospital. No injuries were reported.

A friend of the woman says the driver had just learned how to drive and was confused.
