The weather caused an accident in Greene County Wednesday night. Three people were trapped in a truck, when a tree fell on it while they were driving.
Rescue crews had to cut the roof off of the truck to get them out. They were stuck for about half an hour after a strong gust of wind toppled the tree.
The three females were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center. They're all expected to be ok.
Traffic was backed up on Route 33 West for about an hour.
