A Charlottesville pup is putting his paw print on the national show circuit. George, a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, is on his way to Orlando to compete in the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship.
This top ranked pooch is number one in his breed, earning him the coveted grand champion title and his entrance into the nationally televised dog show.
George's co-owner Nancy Kechner said, "He is the sweetest, easiest dog, he is always in a good mood, he loves everyone."
When George isn't winning ribbons and taking home trophies, you can find this four-legged friend representing the University of Virginia's rugby team as their official mascot. Owners will eventually use him for therapy work.
