Two Arrested on Drug Charges After Routine Traffic Stop

A routine traffic stop in Augusta County over the weekend landed two people in jail on numerous drug offenses.

Twenty-six-year-old Holly Renae Sprouse and 25-year-old Michael Dwayne Wright both face a pair of drug distribution charges. Sprouse is also charged with obstruction of justice and felony escape.

Augusta County deputies say they found large quantities of illegal bath salts in their vehicle.

Wright and Sprouse will go before a judge in January.
