The Building Goodness Foundation (BGF) is hosting a Battle of the Bands at the Jefferson Theater Thursday night. Four bands will take to the stage for the evening.
The event is a combination fundraiser and celebration for all the volunteers that help the nonprofit organization build in our own backyard and around the world.
"It's the most important event we do because this organization doesn't do anything without our volunteers. We are volunteers from head to toe. And so this is the opportunity we take once a year to bring all of volunteers together to recognize the fantastic work they do," said BGF Director of Resource Development Allison Scholl.
The battle starts at 6:00 Thursday night and runs until about 10:00. All proceeds will benefit the BGF.
