Grand Jury Indicts Taybronne White

The man at the center of a triple homicide near Stanardsville in Greene County is now charged in all three deaths.  Taybronne White's case went before a grand jury Tuesday.

The 26-year-old is charged in connection with the death of Brian Lee Daniels, Dustin Knighton and Lisa Hwang last May.  White was indicted on 12 separate felony charges Tuesday in Greene County Circuit Court:

  1. 1st degree murder - Brian Lee Daniels
  2. 1st degree murder - Dustin Knighton
  3. 1st degree murder - Lisa Hwang
  4. Robbery
  5. Armed Burglary
  6. Malicious Assault
  7. Possession of a firearm after being convicted of a felony
  8. Displaying a firearm while committing murder
  9. Displaying a firearm while committing murder
  10. Displaying a firearm while committing murder
  11. Use of a firearm while attempting robbery.
  12. Capital murder: Count 1 - Killing more than one person in Greene County.  Count 2 - Killing more than one person within a three year period.

All three victims were found shot to death in the middle of Octonia Road just hours after a home invasion and robbery on Ford Avenue.  White's bullet-riddled, blood-stained car was later found abandoned off Rio Road in Albemarle County. 

White is set to be back in court on November 1.  That is for a review date before the actual trial is set.
