A Charlottesville doctor is receiving some national recognition. The SCORE Foundation has chosen Dr. Dolly Garnecki to receive the Outstanding Veteran-owned Small Business award.
Garnecki is a chiropractic physician. She helps treat a lot of patients with scoliosis. In the height of the recession, she started her own business - Spinal Health and Wellness LLC.
SCORE is a nonprofit association that educates entrepreneurs and helps small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. Click here for more on the SCORE Foundation.
Garnecki is one of six entrepreneurs nationally receiving this award. She heads to Washington D.C., later this week for the award ceremony.
Garnecki is an active member of the community. Garnecki said, "I would love to continue to teach seminars internationally about the work we do with scoliosis patients, that would be fantastic, definitely continue to reach out to Charlottesville to help educate people let them know they can achieve health naturally."
