
Crozet Pizza's White Mushroom Pie is one of the 50 best in the country. That's according to Food Network Magazine.
The pizza that won editors' hearts is a combination of shiitake and portobello mushrooms over a base of garlic, herbs and olive oil.
"It was definitely very exciting. We've been recognized a few times but this is probably the biggest deal," said Christine Alexander, the owner's daughter and a Crozet Pizza employee.
