Hundreds of hungry barbeque fans flocked to Louisa County Saturday for a fundraiser to support firefighters.

The Fourth Annual Que and Cruz Fundraiser brought more than 60 of the country's best barbeque pit-masters to compete for $10,000 in prizes. But the event was more than just brisket and ribs. Four bands played throughout the day, and more than 100 vintage cars were also on display.

Frank Campanella, one of the BBQ cook off competitors said, "I've got to say there's some really good competition down in Virginia. We're from Baltimore and we've done well...a lot of these teams have been doing it for 20 years, we're on our third year, and so far so good."

All proceeds from the event benefit the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and the Children's Foundation. The lucky winner of the cook-off will represent Virginia in upcoming national and international barbeque competitions.
