Taybronne Altereik White was taken before a magistrate on the following charges- Felony Warrant of Arrest for burglary while armed and Felony Warrant of Arrest for malicious wounding.

Monday night, a man is behind bars in connection to last week's home invasion in Greene County.

Taybronne White turned himself in Sunday to Charlottesville Police and was later turned over to Greene County Sheriff's Office.

White is charged with six felony counts in connection to the home invasion in the 900 block of Ford Avenue. Four of the six charges came late Monday morning.

Greene County's Major Randy Snead said on Monday, "As with any investigation, it's always a good move and we're moving forward to a closure into an incident by taking a suspect into custody who has warrants out for his arrest."

White is charged in connection with a home invasion along Ford Avenue last week, a crime that preceded the killings, later discovered on Octonia Road.

On May 3, Major Snead stated, "We believe there's a connection between the home invasion and the bodies."

The sheriff's office will not say if the bloody car, believed to have been driven from the scene, belongs to White.

Snead continued, "A lot of reason why we can't release this info is due to the investigative reasons taking place behind the scene."

But there's a geographic link that's hard to dismiss. The Honda Accord was abandoned  in Albemarle County just north of Rio Road on Old Brook. Charlottesville police say White lives within a short walking distance of there on Mallside Forest Court.

This is not the first time White has been in trouble with the law. Court records show three dozen prior convictions. He now faces six other felony charges connected to the home invasion including attempted robbery, brandishing a fire arm during a robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Meanwhile, the triple murder investigation continues, investigators are looking at persons of interest.

Snead stated, "We're continuing to follow up on leads and investigative tips and information that has come in from witnesses that are close to the situation itself."
