Stephanie Dubois of Canada, the tournament's #6 seed, rallied to beat #8 seed Michelle Larcher de Brito of Portugal 1-6, 7-6 (5), 6-1 Sunday afternoon to win the singles title in the tenth annual Boyd Tinsley Women's Clay Court Classic at the Boar's Head Sports Club in Charlottesville.
Dubois fought off three match points down 6-5 in the second set to win five straight points and force a second set tiebreak.
In the doubles final, the top-seeded team of Sharon Fichman and Marie-Eve Pelletier of Canada beat #2 seed and defending tournament champion Julie Ditty and Carly Gullickson of the United States 6-4, 6-3.
