Sunday night, people living in Stuarts Draft are cleaning up after a tornado touched down there on Saturday and left a four-mile-long path of damage.

Downed trees and structure damage was visible off Indian Ridge road near Route 340. Saturday's twister - with its 95 mile per hour winds - destroyed several structures and toppled countless trees. One woman's 60 year old cherry tree is now on its side. It just missed crashing into her home.

David Howell, who was visiting his mother's house said, "This was a farm. It's called the Bell's Tavern, and all these trees were very important to my mother and stuff like that, so if you can imagine this tree is 50-60 and the house is as old as it is, and something happens like this, it's bad."

Tanya Fitzgerald, who lives near where the tornado hit said, "It's unreal. Unreal. It's sad. And scary all at the same time, but everybody's been ok, so that's the good thing."

Dominion Virginia Power crews are working to restore electricity after downed trees knocked over power lines in the Cranberry Hills neighborhood. There are no reports of injuries and no estimate on all the damage just yet.
