Firefighters Battle Albemarle County Garage Fire

Albemarle county fire crews spent part of Thursday evening battling a blaze in a neighborhood off Barracks Road.

The fire started in a garage at 106 Falcon Drive in Colthurst Farm at about 7:30 Thursday evening.

Crews responded to calls reporting heavy fire showing from a garage attached to the two story house at that address. The fire did not spread to the house.

One person was treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
