This weekend, veterinarians in Charlottesville volunteered their time to help control the county's pet population. Charlottesville Veterinary Clinic Dr. Martin Betts said, "There's still a very large pet overpopulation problem in this country and the only solution to it is to get animals spayed and neutered before they reproduce."
The clinic spayed and neutered 58 cats and dogs on Sunday. If you're interested in adopting, the Fluvanna Shelter will hold an open house December 4th and 5th.
