An illegal shopping spree has landed a Norfolk woman a felony shoplifting charge in Albemarle County.

Police say 33-year-old Tanisha Naar stole more than $1,600 worth of health and beauty aids from the Kroger at the Rio Hill Shopping Center.

Police caught up to her in the store parking lot after Naar tried to run away.

Naar is being held without bond at the Albemarle Charlottesville Regional Jail. She is also wanted on an outstanding warrant in Norfolk.
