NBC29House Fire Sends Firefighter to Hospital

Fire crews responded to a house fire Monday night on Rocks Farm Drive, just off Dick Woods Road in western Albemarle County.
The house was on fire when the owner came home from work around 5:30 p.m. The fire department was able to put out the flames, but the house suffered a lot of damage.
One firefighter was taken from the scene in an ambulance.
The owner thinks an electrical problem caused by an afternoon thunderstorm could be to blame.
